Team BC faced the Regina Buffaloes in their first game of the Western Canada Championships on Friday morning. Team BC batters started slowly with a few more fly balls then desired.  In the top of the 4th, with one man on,  Austen stepped up and hit a two - run homer.  Regina roared back with two runs of their own. In the sixth inning Team BC decided to get the bats going and scored 4 runs to go up 6-2.  Jordan pitched well for 3 and 2/3 innings before being relieved by Brendan.  Brendan pitched well and was relieved in the 5th inning by Aaron.  

Team BC scored two more runs while Regina also scored two more runs.  Austen came in to close the game in the 7th inning.   Final score Team BC 8,  Regina 4.

Next up:  St. Albert Cardinals, Saturday at 8 am  and then South Central from Manitoba at 1pm.
