An early afternoon MRI on Monday revealed that Cory has a torn labrum and cartilage damage in his shoulder.  Surgery is already scheduled for this Thursday.  Van Briesen will have an immobilized shoulder for about a month, but should have full range of motion in approximately 3 months.  

Cory was in good spirits as he shared the bad news, and advised he was still going to be at the games cheering from the dugout.  Many thoughts and prayers his way!!
