| Playing for the first time as a full squad the Junior Varsity Softball team played Friday and Saturday at Stephanie Lynn Park in the Green Valley Hosted Boomarang Tournament. After losing game 1 Friday to Centennial the Patriots bounced back against Rancho. Corinna Nichols hit a 2 Run Double and Celena Lozano got her first win of the season. Saturday the Patriots dropped 2 games to Arbowview and Green Valley. The team played hard, and with a few players playing new positions along with the girls getting to know each other this was a great tournament to build on. Natalia LeiLua was the defensive player of the tournament. Natalia made multiple solid defensive plays capped by her backhand stop against Arborview and throwing the runner out by 2 steps. Corinna Nichols lead the Patriots with 2 Doubles vs. Rancho. Junior Varsity Next Game is Tuesday March 15 V.S. Valley at 3:30pm |
