Rocket notes on weekend road trip
 What do you do after a 12 game win streak?  Start a new one Portland rockets now sport a 9 game streak 
Rockets drive to find the competition.  Annual road trip to Michigan city, south bend
Al shinn Michigan city stars,  juan marichal, former giants minor league club
Adversity :   2 guys late, accident creates jam on US 30, flat tire, detour, fireworks folly
 
Rockets gut check in Michigan city:  misplays and mishaps in the 6th inning vs the lakers
Tied 5-5 in the 6th, made dan bollenbacher a winner with  a rocket rally winning 12-5
 
Game 2 down 3-2 in the 6th , a rocket rally made mitch waters a winner coming from behind with a 2 run rally, winning 5-3 in 8 innings.  
 
3 bunts in game one, all singles,  a logan hug squeeze bunt the clincher
rockets had 14 hits 
game 2 waters goes 7 inn giving up 3 hits and it is a nail biter,  rockets hand over extra inning lead to Dylan brammer  its brammer time,  game over hammer time.
 
Breaking news:  rocket veteran and captain mitch waters and angi ---2 of my favorite people,  are having a baby. 
 
After a short stay in south bend, and short nite after a fireworks folly brings in the cops
We head to Goshen college and sweep the Elkhart titans. Michael caley throws a  6 hitter and tyler Reynolds a one hitter. Rockets win 11-1 and 11-1
Record now 25-5
Rockets had 56 hits over the weekend, 8 by zach tanner and Justin Marrero,  and limit oppostition to  18
 
Looking forward to home games this week, thurs its crossroads nite at 7 pm . vs ft wayne marlins.
