sun trip to hammond, 4 hrs away was really a game to appreciate, rockets and hammond lakers met in 2015 regionals, they won then\

they won twice sun, but game one was really in our hands only to slip away, max habegger the 19 yr. old lefty was shutting em down

escaped some jams in the 4th 5th, they got 2 in the 6th but max no earned runs given,

score tied going into the 7th tanner hits his second 2 run hr and we lead 4-2

reliever andrew shepherd was touched for 3 run on 4 hits, but we sill had the lead with bases loaded one out,

now 2 out mitch waters comes in to strike out their #8 hitter but with bases loaded 2 out full count pitch is hit thru the middle for the 2 run walk off

rockets drop the last game, fellas were tired but battled, got down 2-0 early behind starter chase ruiz, 

but chandler jacks came in strikes out the side in the 5th , they get 2 unearned with 2 out in the 6 \ a 2-1 game becomes a 4-1 loss

catcher cody krumlauf returns, he from auburn was team captain at earlham, now graduated he will participate in a pro day tryout tues in chicago

he played for portland 3 years ago, he lead the team this weekend going 6-12

tinsley had 5 hits, tanner 3 hits all home runs, waters 3 hits, geeslin 3 hits, 2 for becher

rockets only hit .223 for the 4 game stint, still outscored competition 19-12
