Posted Feb 27/11 - 2010-11 SEASON IN REVIEW: Pflugerville's Nine Seniors: Leaving Their Mark on Pflugerville's Basketball Tradition
With the conclusion of the 2010-11 season coming at the UIL State Tournament Region II title game (Final Eight), the Pflugerville girls basketball program saw its nine seniors in uniform for the final time.

This is the largest senior class in the history of Pflugerville Basketball and contributed to many outstanding moments and achievements. The majority of the seniors participated on head coach Nancy Walling's varsity team the past three years as Pflugerville compiled a superb 91-19 record - an 83 percent winning percentage - in this three-year span.

Nneka Enemkpali and Shoniece Yett were the only freshmen on the varsity in 2007-08 when the Panthers made their 2008 UIL State Tournament (final four) showing. In the last four years, the Panthers:

- compiled a superb 122-25 record
- advanced to 2008 UIL State Tournament (Final Four)
- advanced to 2009 and 2011 UIL Regional Championship (Final 8)
- advanced to 2010 UIL Regional Championship quarterfinals
- won four Area Championships
- won three District titles (2008, 2009, 2010)
- had one runnerup District finish (2011)

The senior class includes: guard Raveen Burton; co-captain and forward Adesuwa Ebomwonyi; post Nneka Enemkpali; post Dy'Mesheon Hyder; co-captain and forward Deborah Roucloux; post Shari Stewart; forward Kalea Thompson; point guard Curtiesha Woods; and forward Shoneice Yett.

Here is a look at the accomplishments of the Panther basketball program over the past four years. In this time span to date, a total of 13 student-athletes signed scholarship offers/grants in aid to continue their basketball careers in college. This spring, more of the Class of 2011 will join those ranks.
