Park River Red Machine Squirts begin the grind to defend their title as Squirt International Champs Friday at 11:30 am. The Red Machine play the Des Moines Jr. Buccaneers AA team at the Armstrong SW arena in Fargo. This is the 1st game of the 5 game tournament which proves to be a battle of attrition.

In order to make it to the Championship game at the UP Center Sunday, the Red Machine will need to win four games before losing . Des Moines Jr. Bucs are not strangers to Red Machine Hockey as these teams have meet twice before at the Squirt I with The Red Machine winning both previous contests.
