Thurs 9/1, Coors can’t close it out

Up 6-3 early with the bases loaded and nobody out, Coors had a chance to bust open a big lead and take the Hive emotionally out of the game (and series).  However, Coors could only manage a single run and the Hive responded the very next inning with a seven spot.  That was the turning point in the game, as the Coors bats went cold (managing only seven more hits), while the Hive kept hitting; slowly pulling away for an easy 17-9 win.

The Hive was finally able to figure out Perkins (at least for a night), as he fell to 13-3 on the year (3-1 in post season play).  The defense wasn’t as good as it had been the first two games, but still played relatively well.

Coors Light can capture their 3^rd BMSL B championship with a win over the Hive Friday Night @8pm.
