HOUSTON, TX---Sydney Thomas scored 19 points and Shayne Ortiz added 11 to lead Cinco Ranch into the championship game of the Mustang Classic on Saturday afternoon with a 48-35 victory over Second Baptist.  Cinco did much of their damage in the first half, scoring 34 of their 48 points in that span.  Cinco's defense did the job in the 2nd half, limiting Second Baptist to just 12 points , including three points in the final quarter. 

Thomas was on fire from beyond the arc, hitting five three-pointers on the afternoon.  Ortiz had seven rebounds and four assists, and Angie Moore had a game high 13 rebounds.  The Cougars will take on Houston Christian in the championship game at 7:30 Saturday night.
