HOUSTON, TX---Sydney Thomas scored 15 points, and Megan Palmer and Angie Moore added 12 points each to lift Cinco Ranch to a 55-35 win over Houston Christian in the championship game of the Mustang Classic.  The Cougars used a strong 2nd half, outscoring the Mustangs 34-18 to pull away and cap off four wins in three days. 

Thomas took home Tournament MVP honors, as she scored 46 points in the four games.  Palmer was also named to the All-Tournament Team, scoring 27 points in limited action over three games. 

Shayne Ortiz dished out eight assists, Moore swatted away five shots and pulled down nine rebounds, while also having five steals in a monster performance.  Palmer had seven rebounds and Emily Richard had six rebounds for the Cougars, who are 7-0 on the season.  Christy Williams had a strong defensive effort with 4 steals.
