CINCO RANCH LADY COUGARS BASKETBALL NEWS ITEM

HOUSTON, TX---Cinco Ranch held Mayde Creek scoreless in the 2nd quarter and allowed just two point in the fourth quarter in a 59-21 victory to open the 19-5A portion of its schedule on Tuesday night at Mayde Creek HS. Cinco led 14-7 after one quarter and 25-7 at halftime. Taylor Williams scored 11 points and had eight rebounds and the Cougars shot 46% from the field on the evening. Megan Palmer had 9 points, Sydney Thomas and Christy Williams added eight each, and Morgan Hatfield had seven points and six rebounds for the winners. Christy Williams added eight rebounds and four steals.
