Campbellsville University learned early Friday evening that it will play its first round games of the 2010 NAIA Baseball National Tournament in Joliet, Ill., located 40 miles southwest of Chicago.

The Tigers will be the No. 2 seed in the five-team tournament and will face host team, No. 3 University of Saint Francis in the first round. Cumberland University (Tenn.), ranked No. 2 nationally, will be the No. 1 seed and host the winner of the tournament's opening game between No. 4 Robert Morris (Ill.) and No. 5. Mayville State (N.D.).

Games will be played at Silver Cross Field, which is home to the Joliet Jackhammers, a independent pro team that plays in the Northern League.

Cumberland University is the only team in the bracket Campbellsville has faced this season. The Bulldogs won at home in Lebanon, Tenn., 7-1, March 23, but the the Tigers responded to the loss with a 13-game win streak that included a 5-4 win over Cumberland on April 7 in Campbellsville.
