This past weekend the Dallas Diesel traveled to Arkansas to play the Little Rock Ballas. As the game began to progress, so did
the Diesel. With only six players, they started to bring back the high
scoring tradition of the Lady Diesel. The women broke the club scoring record
for regular season, as well as most points scored in regulation with 117 points
in the fast-paced venture. With this,
they now hold the record for the most points scored in the 2010 season in the
WBCBL. This brings them to #2 in the league in scoring averaging 95.25
points per game and are now ranked #8 in the country out of 55
teams.
Veteran guard, Chantoya Hawkins (5'5 - PG - Oklahoma State Univ), led all scores with 39 points and Jill "Bang-Bang" Duffey (6'1 - Forward - TX A&M Corpus Christi Univ) had a career high 36 points.
