10/2  This weekend we were going to play in the Nations tourney, however they only had 3-16u teams sign up, so we will take this weekend off.  It looks like the weather is going to be beautiful, so hopefully everyone can get out and enjoy it.

Next weekend we were going to play in the Triple Crown tournament in Jax/St. Augustine, due to a few kids having to leave the team, we are not going to play in the TC tournament and instead stay a bit closer to home.  IBT & Nations are both having tournaments next weekend, so we will play in one of them. 

At this time I would like to Welcome Kye Ruehlen and Nathan Hancock to the team.  Kye plays for DeLand and Nathan plays for Seabreeze.  We are excited to have these 2 boys join the team, and look forward to seeing y'all at practice next week.

9/29  Well yesterday was a long day, but the boys did great considering they played ball for over 6 hours straight w/ no breaks & no food.  Eric was pleased with how the boys did in their 1st tournament.  Congrats to Alex who won the Golden Glove award & Hunter for winning lthe Slugger award.  These boys certainly made some great plays and had some great hits yesterday :)

Oct. is going to be a busy month, playing in 3 tournaments, since there is not alot going on in Nov.  (Please review our calendar).  The payment for Oct, is going to be more due to playing/paying for 3 tournaments, 1 being the Triple Crown which is $800.  For this one tournament, gate fees for family members are incuded in the tournament fee.

We are going to try to schedule an indoor practice at Diamond on Tues 9/30 as I think the fields are going to be to wet.  I have a call into Brian to see if they are available. As soon as I have confirmation I will let you know.

Due Oct 1 $200. - UPDATE - Due 9/30  due to moving practice around to accomodate for our DeLand boys who have games this week on Mon, Wed & Thur (weather permitting).  The Triple Crown tournament fees are due on Wed.
