Yi-Fan Pan put in another strong performance going 4 innings on the mound in relief of starter Ethan Kano McGregor.  Pan seemed to get stronger over the course of his outing and needed only 14 pitches to shut the door in the 6th and 7th.  Over his four innings of work Yi-Fan threw only 46 pitches.  Even more impressive was that only 8 of those were balls.   Yi-Fan had an equally strong night at the plate: he was 2 for 3, with one of his hits a towering triple to the right-centre gap.  Other notables were John "K-9" Lipp, Justin Arnold, and "Action" Jackson LaPointe (who each went 1 for 2) as well as Matthew "Sellie" Selinger who also went 1 for 2 on the night, with a double and a walk.

Next Up: The Dodgers face three strong teams in the upcoming "double double" weekend.  First up is Cloverdale Black at AAP at Noon Saturday on Devon's Diamond. The Dodgers then host the Victoria Black Eagles at 6:00 PM (also at AAP).  On Sunday, the Dodgers travel to Cloverdale for a "home" game vs. the Victoria Red Eagles at 3:00 PM and a final tilt against Cloverdale Black at 6:00 PM.  The Dodgers will definitely need a bigger effort against the Black Red Black trifecta.
