It's that time of year again! Bantam Fall Ball is just around the corner.  This year AMBA will be expanding its fall ball program to ensure that all players that will be playing Bantam next year will have an opportunity to improve their skills and prepare for the 2013 season.  Historically, AMBA has used its Fall Ball program as an opportunity to introduce Bantam Rules and the bigger field to those players moving up from Pee Wee, while continuing the training for those First Year Bantams seeking to hone their skills. Those aspects of the Fall Ball will continue, but this year we will also have a focus on development of the Langley-Aldergrove Dodgers AAA program.  

Fall Ball for 2012 will be run by AAA Head Coach Darren Rock and AA Head Coach Kelvin Hewer (who will be joining the AAA coaching staff for 2013).  It will  be open to all players within the Aldergrove Minor Baseball Association catchment (Township of Langley, City of Langley, and that part of Abbotsford west of Mt. Lehman Road) and will be a perfect opportunity for all Bantam-aged players to showcase their talents and get a head start on the 2013 Bantam AAA season.  Fall Ball will run through the month of September and, weather permitting, into early October.  The highlight of the fall season will be the 5th Annual Aldergrove Fall Classic that will be held over the last weekend of September (September 27, 28, 29, and 30).  Once again, we expect teams from all over the Province to attend this tournament.
