Westfield 2 – 1 Locomotion

A lackluster and indisciplined display away to an inferior team left Coach Duddy scratching his head at how performances can differ so wildly from week to week.

The lack of combination passing and communication was evident as the normally fluent Locos broke down at every opportunity and shied away from striking the ball at goal.

The defeat halted a great start to the season, and the Locos look to next weekend’s Parsippany Pride Tournament to iron out the wrinkles and return to winning ways.

Tournaments are tough on your body, so please make sure you take care this weekend.

Burgers and pizza are not going to help your muscles recover for the next games – stick to healthy sandwiches, granola bars and of course fruit!

Food like bananas and granola bars give you quick energy as they digest much faster than heavy meats and breads.

Make sure you have snacks and plenty water with you – don’t rely on the concessions.
