Posted May 21/10 - Wildcats Pound Dassel-Cokato Saints 10-3

Gonna try and write a recap for a game I wasn't at! I received a 6 word text message informing me about the outcome tonight. This should be cool!

The Wildcats made their trek to Dassel-Cokato Friday night, and came home victorious by a defeating the Saints 10-3.

Wildcats pitcher Tony Kley, who is a substitute teacher at Lester Prairie Public Schools, took a "no-hitter" into the 7th inning tonight. When asked after the game on how he keeps from tiring during the game, Kley responded with "I have a lot of pent-up anger/energy. I sit 5 days a week with elementary kids 8 hours a day. Do I really need to say anymore? If you spent 40 hours a week with 30 kids under the age of 7,  you'd throw a baseball 85mph without getting tired too!" ***See footnote***

Tony's younger brother Joe Kley, belted his 1st "bomb" of the season for the Wildcats. He hit it hard. And a long ways. And it was high. And cool.

I'm not quite sure what else transpired throughout the game, but I'm guessing that "Benny Machs" didn't watch the "real" version of "Major League" before tonight's game. I will be sure to grill him tomorrow about it.

I missed the game because of my wife. She was late. An hour late. Instead, I got to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with my 13 month old daughter rather than hang with the fellas in the dugout tonight. I managed to also watch the Twins vs Brewers 1st inning tonight. Geezuz! Watching that was like watching the Hutch Huskies game the other night. I seriously cannot take anymore bad baseball this week!

Alright...Time to wrap it up....Hopefully I entertained the few that frequent the site for a couple of minutes. I'm here all weekend. Remember to tip your servers and bartenders.

Until tomorrow...

****DISCLAIMER****

The Tony Kley comments that were mentioned in the article were completely fabricated. TK was not "interviewed" for this article. Comments were fabricated after imagining myself teaching elementary kids, 40 hours a week AND after consuming a half-liter of Crown Royal this evening. All that was, was a yarn, spinning for your reading entertainment.
