Perhaps what best encapsulates Josh' season was a 2-minute stretch in the final game of the season, when we were short-handed a man, and Josh was sent out to help kill off the penalty. Having fought to steal the puck and clear it all the way down into West's zone, Josh raced down there, got to it first, and single-handedly killed off about 90 seconds of the penalty. Three West players couldn't shake him. He fell down twice, when checked, but immediately got up and was on the puck again. The West players must all have been thinking... Do we have to shoot this guy, or what? Bottom line: no one played this season - every game, every shift - with more heart.
