Joe started with the team as a forward, but later on was moved to the defence position because of his excellent speed and defensive minded skills. Joe drafted in 2004 signed a 4 year deal with the team. The young defenceman is one of the fastest and hardest worker on the team, giving 100% everytime he hits the floor. ESPN has compared him to S.Zubov.
