Wright has been playing soccer since the age of 4 when he began in Mississauga, Ontario. Shortly after he moved to British Columbia at age 6, he began playing up a year on rep/gold teams until age 12 when he also became an integral part of the Titans select team playing in International tournaments in California (Summer 2004) and won as a U-12 team against U-13 teams in the Hawaii International Cup Tournament (July 2005). Wright is currently playing on the U-14 Metro Select team for Peace Arch as midfielder/forward, and trains at SFU with Junior Whitecaps Academy. In addition to soccer, Wright has also enjoyed hockey, basketball, track and field and volleyball.
