| Des is entering his sixth season with the Rockets. He was previously a four time all-star in the SWBL while playing with the Virden Oilers. Des played baseball for the Great Plains Acadamy in Winnipeg in 2002 and 2003. Prior to that Des was a provincial high school baseball champion in 2001, while playing for the Virden Golden Bears. He was named the Most Valuable Pitcher at that provincial tournament, and was also named the Golden Bears MVP that season. |
