| Lindsey has one of the strongest arms on the team that combined with her excellent range left and right make her a superb shortstop. She has very good footwork turning double plays and relay throws. Her coverage on steals to 2nd and 3rd are also very good. She possesses skills in the outfield as well, her range there helps her get to balls most players wouldn’t. Lindsey has displayed several times that she will play through pain and injury to help the team win. Offensively Lindsey is a dependable hitter that carries a very good batting average she puts the ball in play almost every time at bat. She has a very good knowledge of the strike zone and can adjust her swing to adapt to pitches. She is also one of the best bunters on the team, she sees the ball very well. During practice Lindsey will take ground ball after ground ball until she has done it perfect. She is a perfectionist at her position, she wants to do it correct and better than the next player. She listens to direction well a very coach able young lady. If she keeps working hard and with her dedication she could take that next step past high school. |
