Jose graduated from the Puerto Rico Baseball Academy and lives in Trujillo Alto, P.R.. A big lefthander who throws the ball with a lot of movement, Jose has improved quite a deal since the fall. He has gained 3 or 4 mph on his fastball and has worked really hard on his off-speed stuff. He is expected to be one of the go to guys out of the pen and the Mustangs are anticipating a productive year out of this southpaw freshman.
