PROFILE
2009- Married father of three lovely daughters. This baseball season wouldn't exist for Mark or even the Bad Boys if it wasn't for his beautiful wife's work, love, and support. Mark played baseball at Central Washington University from '94-'97. He finished his career at CWU in 7th place on the all-time strikeout list. He amassed an 11-8 record with 2 saves at Central. He also batted 1.000 with 2 RBI's and 6 runs scored. He has played professionally for the Eston Ramblers, Clarksville Coyotes, and the Gray's Harbor Gulls. Mark is returning to the diamond after years of inactivity and shoulder surgery in the fall of '08.

2010- Stewart's '09 was like the Grand Canyon. There were high points at the beginning and end of the season, but for most of the season shoulder pain kept him from being effective and relied upon as a starter. Offensively he was adequate, hitting .281 for the regular season. Due to personell issues he was forced into action for the final playoff game. Having already mailed it in for the year, he went 0-3 to lower his average to .257. On the bump, it was a tale of two Stewarts. There was the pitcher who in midseason, over the course of two months, and three pain filled starts, went 0-2 and looked every bit the player who was 10 months removed from labrum surgery. But, there was also the Bad Boys' opening day starter, who finished the season strong. In his only three healthy starts (opening day and his last two starts of the year) Stewart was 2-1. In those three games he threw a total of 17 1/3 innings allowing only 11 hits and 5 walks while striking out 16 to go along with a 1.04 ERA. Stewart finished the year with 27 K's in 28 innings and had a better than 2/1 strikeout to walk ratio. With this season's additions, and a healthy 2010 from Stewart, the Bad Boys will move from the cellar to mediocrity in a hurry.
