Graduated from St. Olaf in 2002. Was a four-time all-MIAC selection in Baseball. Was also the MIAC Player of the year 3 times (1999, 2000, 2001) an accomplishment only matched by Chris Coste (current Philadelphia Phillies catcher). Holds multiple school records, such as a career batting average of .408, 234 hits, 201 runs, 39 home runs, 58 doubles, and 15 triples. Made it all the way to AA with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2005. Was an All-star with the St. Paul Saints. Was also an all-MIAC selection in football as a sophomore at St. Olaf.
