League Rules:

       1. Each game is 3 innings long.

      2. There are two outs in an inning.

      3. 4 fouls in one at bat result in an out,

      4. Any contact with the tree is a foul ball.

      5. The fence is the foul pole, any contact with it is a fair ball.

      6. A ball must pass the black pole to be fair.

      7. Balls may be caught off the shed.

Eric pitched a perfect game for the Flames as he shut down the Tarheels' offense. Mike pitched two scoreless innings allowing only two hits before the Penguins rallied for 7 runs in the last inning. The Flames' rallied for 4 runs in the last inning before Dan cut the rally short. The Tarheels were unable to get anything started all game because of Eric's phenomenal outing.

 

 

Game 2: Penguins manage to steal another victory despite great performances by all pitchers.

All starters were lights out this game. The Penguins jumped out to an early lead with a 2-run home run and never lost their lead. The Flames appeared to awaken with a solo home run, but their fire was put out once again by opposing pitcher Dan. The Tarheels also struck late with a solo shot in the last inning, but an injury to Eric brought Dan in to shut out the game.
