BOOSTER CLUB BOARD MEETINGS

Booster Club Board Meetings will normally be held in or in room 812 (football meeting room in the athletic wing of Klein High).
All Booster Club Members are welcome to attend.
NEXT GENERAL BOOSTER CLUB MEETING:
Purpose: To work totally with and under the jurisdiction of the high school prinicpal and the head coach of the particular sport or sports involved in a support role of positive encouragement and promotion of Klein ISD high school athletics, within the policies set forth by the Board of Trustees.
Goals: To aid the Athletic Department by: 1.) Expressing positive attitudes throughout the community; 2.) Understanding the goals and objectives of the athletic department so that communication between parents and athlete can be of a positive nature; 3.) Supplementing each program with money raising projects (not to exceed three per year) aimed at enhancing that sport in line with school needs; 4.) Working within the structured framework of Rules set up by the Klein ISD Board of Trustees, its Administrators, and the UIL; and 5.) Allowing all actions of this group to have the approval of the principal and head coach prior to their application.
Objectives: 1.) To aid in communications between: parents and their athletes, parents and coaches, parents and school community, and community and school; 2.) To help at functions of the sport in any way that a coach or coaches feel is necessary, i.e. end-of-season banquets, track meets, tournament etc.; 3.) To pursue one or two money making projects per year, for fund to be used toward the end-of-the-year banquet and other needs in that sport; and 4.) To have an appreciation function for the athletes at the end of their respective season; one that falls in line with guidelines set up by the administrations of Klein ISD.
