NOTE: Due to amount of players registered, we will be selecting "travel" teams that will play home/away games against neighbouring PBL teams (see 'Thunder' in the game schedule)
The program is designed to develop each players in-game approach, learn the Thunder’s philosophies and provide a first class experience to our athletes and advancing their future goals. The benefits of the fall program include but are not limited to skill development, competition, critical thinking, mental development, strength and conditioning, sportsmanship, technical data and assessment, game play and innovative and challenging practices.
During Fall Ball, UBC Thunder coaches will utilize all the technology at our disposal during games and practices, such as Blast Motion Swing Tracking, Diamond Kinetics Pitchtracker, High-Speed Video, Axe Bat Speed Trainers, Rapsodo Pitching and Hitting, HitTrax.
Every player will be given the opportunity to play and enjoy competition and learn how to seek out opportunities to further develop themselves. Coaches will use the games and practices to teach, provide input and instruct on how to handle adversity. Practices are designed to be challenging, competitive and detailed. All players are welcome for Fall, however, to be eligible for the Thunder in 2025, you must be within the BCPBL defined territory or have been released from the team in whose territory you reside.
