Queens Crowned Winner in Boston Preseason Invitational

Second Game the Queens played the New Hampshire Marvels in a runaway game where most of the starters rested the Queens won 63-36. Tatiana Ellis led the way with 16 points, Milani Malik added 14 points Ariel Smith had 2 steals & dished out 7 assists.
Game 3 was played against The New York Fame. It was a game that featured 2 teams that are very familiar with one another, and was very close and competitive throughout. In the end the Queens edged out The NY Fame 46-43 thanks in part to the arrival of center Adriana Spears who came in and provided a huge inside presence. Tatiana Ellis led the way with 16 points, Raquel Collier added 9 points and 8 rebs for the Queens.
The NY Fame were lead by Thazina Cooks' 10 points, Regina Washington, Ronda Shelley, Yolanda Rayside, and Lakeytah Irving all added 6 points, Washington also added 5 assists.
The championship game was a low scoring rematch between the hometown Boston Bombers and the Queens. The game came down to one possession for the Queens with 3.7 sec left. Tatiana Ellis received the inbound pass took a couple dribbles then took a step back 17 footer that swished through the net as time expired. Giving the Queens the Championship. Ellis finished the game with 6 points, Raquel Collier led the way with 10 points and 7 rebs, Adriana Spears once again was a huge inpact inside scoring 8 big points for the Queens off the bench.
