The Royals faced the Saskatoon Dodgers last night in SSBL action and just like on the weekend in Holdfast, the boys came to play.  Braden Bauml pitched all five innings giving up only 2 hits, the defense was stellar with only one error being made, and the bats were huge as the boys pounded out 16 hits, with Luke Strueby and Braden Bauml leading the way with three a piece.  Coaches Johb and Timmer also debuted as Johb singled and Timmer doubled him home.  Coach Johb had to run all the way from first to home.  It was funny.  The final score was 16-1.  Next action for the Royals is Friday at 6:30pm against the Diggers in the annual Father's Day Tourney!
