The Royals defeated the Stallions last night in game one of the SSBL final by a score of 7-1.  Strong pitching and defense along with a couple clutch hits were the difference in this game.  The Royals got a glimpse of the future as Humboldt AAA midget aged player and Marysburg product Dean Jaeb pitched a complete game gem.  Jordan Gerwing of the Humboldt AAA midgets also suited up for the Royals.  Colin Bauml or, destiny's hitter as he likes to be called, lead the way with three hits and the defense was solid not making any errors.  Games 2 and 3 are tonight at 6:30 and 9:00pm
