Royals and Stallions heading to game 4
Posted August 11, 2011
The Royals squared off again with the Stallions last night in games two and three of the SSBL final. The first game saw the Royals win by a score of 9-2. Paul Strueby threw six solid innings for the Royals getting the win. The defense again did not make any errors and the bats were good as we had 10 hits. Game three was a different story as the Royals lost by a score of 3-0. Colin Bauml pitched a very good complete game. The Royals defense made only one error and the Royals had runners on in every inning, they just could not get the clutch hit as twelve runners were stranded. Games 4 and 5 (if necessary) are tonight at 6:30 and 9:00 in Saskatoon.
