STL Surge Raises more than $5,000 for YMCA Strong Community Campaign

Members of the St. Louis Surge Semi-Professional Basketball Team raised $5,145 for the Downtown-Marquette Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) Strong Community Campaign of St. Louis. The St. Louis Surge’s fundraising efforts contributed to the YMCA’s overall fundraising campaign goal of $77,000, which is dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, changing lives each and every day and strengthening the community. The St. Louis Surge General Manager and Team Owner, Khalia Collier, was honored at the Strong Community Campaign Celebration on Thursday, Feburary 2, 2012.
