The Crookston Reds won their second game of the season in convincing fashion, 17-6 over the home standing Fertile Bee's. The offense came alive in game two and defense still have a couple of holes but are mendable. In the 5th inning errors are what lead to the only big inning the Bee's would have as they put up 6. The Reds however would answer back with three in the top of the 6th and six more in the 7th. That would be more than enough as Bill Sullivan came in and closed the flood gates. The Reds tacked on 5 more in the 8th on a couple of Bee errors and a few of key hits. The Reds were lead today by Nick Wheelhouse who went 3-3 with 3 runs scored, a stolen base, walk and a RBI to highlight his day. All in all the Reds played very well and answered back when they needed to. The next game for the Reds will be May 30th when they travel to Thief River Falls to take on the Thieves with a 7:00pm start.
