We lose we booze

Game 1 - A solid game for the most part from the Dbacks.  Playing last years champs and facing their ace on the bump; the Dbacks were able to get out to an early lead but failed to hold after a shaky 5th making a couple of errors and giving up a few chink hits.  They regained in the bottom half and brought in newly signed hard throwing rookie lefty to shut it down.  He showed promise but was a little rusty having not thrown in over a month .  He buckled under the huge pressure of performing in the FMBA and blew the save and gave up another in the bottom.  He is taking a couple weeks off to regroup and is expected to dominate next outing.  The Dbacks were able to load the bases in the bottom of 6 but could not finish leaving them stranded.

The top of the order continued to rake and put up strong offensive numbers.

The Dbacks continue to struggle without a set closer as 2 time Rolaids Relief man Kyle has yet to be available when a save is needed.

MVP - Fabby                                             Vag - Cooper

Game 2 - Not as bad as the score would indicate.  A god awful pitching performance by Scooter, who if the team was not short on pitching would have been pulled in the first inning.  After he was pulled it was a 3-2 game for the next 6 innnings.  The game got of to a rocky start with Foddy being tossed for arguing a pick off.  Then Snapshow got involved as the umpire clearly confused didn't understand he wasn't behind the plate and that he was umping in the FMBA.  SS was promtly tossed and gave a crowd a decent show.  Solid relief pitching, from Sam and the debut pitching performance from hair, was only other highlight.  The bats were silent for much of the night.  A good crowd was out and the Dbacks dissapointed.

A new team record was set with the consumption of an estimated 90 drinks.  There was shoe slams, girl fights, and a good time had by all.

MVP - Sam                                                 Vag - Rhett

Next up: Tuesday 6:30 Killer is on the bump against the Dukes.  Lots of potential for a bench clearing brawl as they are extremely bush.  Looking to get back on track and are expected to be near a full roster.
