Royals topple Dodgers
Posted June 22, 2012
The Royals played the Dodgers last night in SSBL action. The first four innings of the game flew by with both teams getting solid pitching and defense. However, in the fifth, the Royals opened it up with a couple bunt base hits and a couple of errors by the Dodgers which the Royals capitalized on with a couple clutch two our run scoring base hits. The sixth was a lot the same as the Royals added six runs to the five they scored in the fifth to make the final score 11-0. Paul Strueby pitched a complete game, the defense was solid and the offense had nine hits with Brent Puetz, Cole Bauml, and Colin Bauml leading the way with two a piece. Next action for the Royals is this Sunday in Marysburg when they take on the Outlaws in doubleheader action beginning at 1pm.
