Royals gun down Outlaws

The Royals took on the Outlaws today in a doubleheader. In front of a large crowd in Marysburg the Royals downed the Outlaws 8-2 in the first game. The Royals pounded out eleven hits and Bevan Ledingham threw a very strong 6 innings with Mathew Strueby throwing the seventh. The Royals defense was solid making only one error behind Bevan and Mathew.
In the second game the Royals sent Mathew Strueby to the mound. Mathew threw a very solid four innings and Paul Strueby threw a strong last three innings to lead the Royals to an 8-6 win. The defense made two errors and the bats were big once again as they had ten hits in the win. Next action for the Royals is tomorrow night at 6:30 in Saskatoon against the Blue Jays.
