Technically a Sweep

After another 2 week layoff from league play the Dbacks took the field on a warm Thursday night. The chirps normally heard from the birds in the summer were oddly quiet on the night. They were likely scared to say anything as the Dbacks brought a full 33 man roster out; which included 2 black guys which trumped the Cards 1.

The Dbacks went with rookie starter Ryan Kennedy, fresh off a month of intensive psychological treatment learning to deal with the pressures of the FMBA. He battled through a tough first inning, giving up one but settling in showing his stuff was as advertised striking out 3. He continued to run up his K's finishing with 10 over his 5IP. He was quoted after the game as saying "Tom Gayef has nothing on me".

The Cards threw their Ace who was backed by some very shaky D. The Dbacks touched him up for 10 hits and 7 runs. He was utterly devastated after the game. Word has it he has been released due to inability to perform. The Guns are interested in his services as giving up 7 a game would still make him the ace for them. Contract talks between the Card's and Alec Baldwin have stalled as even he couldn't turn this team in to winners. The Cards only hope now is to sign Chuck Norris as player/coach.

MVP - Kennedy                                  Vag - Fabby

Next up July 7 against the Giants.
