Dbacks took the untended to field(yet again) for their second game this week against the Cocks. Under strict orders from upper management to stop being ejected so much. They were able to make it an entire game with only one umpire and player getting in a shouting match and no ejections ontheir way back to .500 with a 6-2 win over the Cocks who just couldn't stay up for the entire game.
In a well played game by both teams, the Dbacks started to show some signs of life in the batters box again putting up double digit hits(legitimate not FMBA stat keeping). Big days from Killer, Trask, and again showing up in the 4th as per normal and still crushing was Lance. Poor base running was the only real downfall on the day, with numerous rallies killed with poor decisions. In a move that will be pondered for centuries Scooter tried to steal a base....Seriously.
Gayef had a strong outing. Giving up a lot of hits but getting out via his true love the K. Backed by sketchy but effective defense and oddly enough no walks or HBP he allowed 2 over 7. He did require some help from Arty with an unheard of two batter interference calls in separate innings.
