The Royals and Stallions squared off for the third year in a row this year for the SSBL league title.  The Royals jumped out to a 1-0 series lead on the strength of a complete game from Bevan Ledingham and a grand slam from Braden Bauml with a 6-5 win in game one.  However, that was the last taste of victory for the Royals in the series as the Stallions won game 2 by a score of 9-6, game 3 by a score of 7-6 and game four by a score of 9-3.  Mathew Strueby, Paul Strueby, Brett Yarksie, Eric Bollefer, and Luke Strueby all pitched in the last three games.  Down a lot of players the Royals gave the Stallions a good battle, however, the Stallions offense was in full swing and had a great series.  Congratulations to the Stallions for winning back to back SSBL titles.
