Game Notes: This was a crazy game for the Rockets as it took two overtime periods to come out with the victory in this one. The highlights are too numerous to catch all of them, but some include Ashley Hall's baseline drive which she laid in from behind the backboard, Shanelle Waiting's and Courtney Davies' clutch fast break layups in the second OT, Camara Miller's ability to take advantage of the backup post when she had a mismatch for some big buckets, Bailey Sognesand's start of the fourth quarter to give Ashley a well-deserved rest so that she could play the entire OT, Jennie Rasmussen's calm leadership on the court and getting some timely fouls to get her to the line and Ann Richards' HUGE block near the end of the second OT which sealed the deal for the victory. Despite all of that, the game ball goes to Kayla Romanow in this one for coming up with a career high 16 points in her biggest game as a Rocket by shooting weel from the field and getting four from the line. This victory put the Rockets in the Regional final, and one game away from Hoopla, for only the second time in twelve years. It was an exciting victory and a well deserved one.
