Nelly loses again

The much anticipated most hated team vs most hated player match up would not disappoint anyone. Well unless they were looking for quality baseball...
We carry a 25 man roster in hopes that 9 show up. We were lucky that we had it in the budget to fly in our pitcher from BC for the outing. That gave us 10 and one showed up later. We almost asked to borrow one of the 19 Cards sitting on the bench. Solid starting pitching and defense were the story of this game. Nothing happened through the 7 innings and 90 minutes that passed by before heading to extras with a 1-1 score. A costly error to open the inning followed by a couple of hits(another infield single by suds. He is still looking to hit it past the pitchers mound) then cashed in by Aker on a solid double was too much for the Cards. Even Nelly's motivational speech couldn't rally the troops in the bottom half as Axel loaded them up before striking out Guy.
Side note we are still the worst baserunning team in the league.
