Game 2

The boys took the field for their second game on a windy Thursday night against the Marysburg Royals..  The Outlaws jumped out to an early lead with 1 RBI from Trev, 2 RBI's from A-Dawg, and one from Matty.

Campbell (the one without the black eye)was rolling along and ran into a bit of trouble compounded by a controversial home run call in the 3rd inning which tied the game at 4. Skip came in for 3 strong innings and kept the strong Marysburg bats at bay.

The Outlaws threatened in the Bottom of 6 after a textbook sac bunt by Jimmy put runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 out but couldnt cash in. Unfortunate due to the fact Bess came in the top of  the 7th and got 3 outs in 12 pitches.

After not being able to muster the winning run in the bottom of 7, Marysburg scored 2 in the top of the 8th and the Outlaws couldnt answer. All in all a very good baseball game, lots of nice plays , solid defense , good pitching, just the wrong end result.

Gimmer led the offense with 2 hits and showed off his blazing speed scoring the games first run.

Next action is May 28th at 9 oclock against the Guns.
