Last night the Crookston Reds dropped a heartbreaker to the Fertile Bee's, by a score of 6-5. It was a back and fourth game thru out as the Reds picked up a couple in the first inning. The Bee's would anwser back with one in the second and 3 in the third. The Reds did muster up a lone run in the third as well. The fourth would be quick for the Bee's and the Reds would start off with a bang as the Lead off hitter Justin Johnson would double to start reach third on a wild pitch and come home on a Ben Wilson sac fly, that would tie the game at 4. Henry Stanaslowski started for the Reds going 4 ininngs giving up 4 runs 2 earned on 2 hits. It was a solid outing for Henry. The 5th would be quite, the Bee's would add a couple more runs in the 6th which would be the perverbial winning run. The Reds would add alot of excitment in the 9th with a Matt Morin walk to start the inning followed by Skip Toops hit by pitch and a Kody Kawlewski walk that would load the bases Sam Brule would come to the plate and walk in the Reds 5th run of the game. That would bring Taylor Morlan to the plate, Taylor would rip a comebacker right at the pitcher who then would double up Sam at first. Then with two outs Bill Sullivan would bounce out to the pitcher to end the game. The Reds will take on the Thieves in Thief River next thursday game time will be 7:15 at the MEC
