Big Changes for 2013 season
Posted May 29, 2013
The Outlaws have a very different feel going into the 2013 season. Many of the vets have decided to hang them up to focus more on family, work, etc. With that being said its sad to see them go because they were all significant pieces to the roster. However the roster has gotten a lot younger with some fresh faces on board for the year.
Brayden Bessel plays 1st and 3rd, Matt Dunn is a middle infielder, and Ben Peters is and OF. As well Adam Engdahl, a past Outlaw has rejoined the team this year. Adam is well known for the side scoop and also the classic story in Kenossee which had him and his two brothers against the town of Kenossee. If you haven't heard the story make sure and talk to him because its Legendary!!!!! Hopefully with the new faces from last year and this year we can continue to grow as a unit.
As far as tournaments for the year we will be participating in Dinsmore: June 8th, Father's Day in Stoon: June 14th-16th, Kenossee: June 28-July 1st, and Provincials in Stoon: August 9-11. For provincials our league might have to play in different series to determine proper numbers for the tournament.
As for league schedule we have two games in June and that's it. Most of our schedule will be cramped into July-August while city playoffs could be pushed into September.
Hopefully we can continue to get support as we have in previous years. We definitely have a different team this year but we're younger and faster and somewhat better looking.
