Supers Improve to 3-0

On Wednesday May 29, The Supers were in Yorkton for a 6:15 PM contest with the Yorkton Orioles. After trailing 1-0 early on, the Supers rallied for three runs in the top of the third and another three in the top of the fourth to pave their way to a 7-3 victory.
Colby Parachoniak started on the hill, tossing five innings while surrendering just one run. He gave up four hits and struck out eight to pick up the win. Jason Blommaert pitched the final two innings, giving up two earned runs with four strikeouts.
On the sticks, Trevor Latham, Zach Rakochy, and Carson Dennis led the way with two hits apiece. Rakochy also had three rbi's, Dennis scored two runs and stole a base, while Latham scored a run. Logan Parachoniak gave the team some breathing room with a two rbi single in the top of the fourth, while Evan Rostotski and Scott Sharp each picked up rbi singles. Greg Andreychuk, Derek Palagian, and Brogan Legebokoff each picked up a single to round out the offence.
Both teams were allowed to have unlimited defensive substitutions and have everyone bat in the order. With the win, the Supers improve to three wins and zero losses on the season. The next game will be Friday, May 31 in Willowbrook for a 6:15 start.
