Youth comes up big for the Outlaws!

The Outlaws hosted the Marysburg Royals on Thursday night and the young guns on the Outlaws took front stage.

Matt Dunn led the way with a double,triple , a sac bunt, a base on balls and 2 RBI. Brent Campbell was close behind recording 3 hits ,an RBI , reached base 4 times and scored 3 runs. Brayden Bessel got his first win of the season shutting down the potent Marysburg offense for 2 innings, limiting them to 1 run.

The pitching was solid with Frenchy going 5 and Bessel finishing it off. The defense wasnt the best but its early and fortunately for the Outlaws the Marysburg team made some uncharacteristic errors in the 6th and the boys capitalized. Regardless, its a win , and a huge 2 points.

Next action is June 6 against the Diggers. 9: 00 at Cairns.
