Winning Streak Extended to Five

The Supers hot start to the season continued on Sunday, June 2nd in Russell as they pounded out eleven hits in an 11-6 victory over the Bulls, improving their record to 5-0.
Dylan Toffan, Evan Rostotski, Greg Andreychuk, Jason Blomaert, and Travis Fogg were the only Supers to record hits, but all had at least two while Toffan had three. Toffan continued his torrid start going three for five with two runs scored and three stolen bases. Rostotski had a single, double, a stolen base while driving in four runs. Andreychuk was two for four with a double, two stolen bases, and three runs scored. Blommaert had two singles, a stolen base, two rbi's and three runs scored, while Fogg had two singles and an rbi. Trevor Latham drew three walks, scored a run, and had a stolen base, while Brogan Legebokoff and Tannum Wyonzek each had a walk and a stolen base. In total, the Supers swiped ten bags on the afternoon.
Logan Parachoniak started the game pitching, lasting six innings in picking up the win. After giving up three runs in the bottom of the second, he settled down and threw well the rest of the way, striking out five Bulls hitters. Jason Blommaert came into the game in the bottom of the seventh inning to finish the game off, striking out two.
With the win, the Supers have five wins and no losses to start the season. Their next game will be Friday, June 7 as the Willowbrook Royals pay a visit to Al Sapieha Field. Game time is scheduled for 6:15
