Gimmer leads Outlaws to 3rd win

The boys took the field on a beautiful thursday night against the Diggers. The weather was perfect for baseball and the bugs were  surprisingly quiet.

After a scoreless first inning, the Diggers took an early lead in the top of 2. The Outlaws answered back in the 3rd, Benny reached on an error, Matty walked allowing Gimmer to reach the plate and he cleared the bags with a monster 3 run shot.The Outlaws added 1 more in the inning with an RBI from Trev.

The Outlaws got 5 more in the bottom of the 5th led by a bomb by the ageless wonder Uncle Herp.

"Junior" Bergen pitched 4 strong innings , Campbell for 1 and Dunn for the last 2. The young guns kept the Diggers bats at bay.

The offense was led by Gimmer,with 3 hits, 3 RBI,a homer ,a double and a single. and 2 runs scored

Herp was 1/2 with a home run,2 walks,2 RBI and 2 runs scored and Vogel was 2/3 with 2 singles and 2 runs scored.
